The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement and inventory management to logistics and customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of the supply chain process, as well as the ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams. The Supply Chain Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that the supply chain operates efficiently and effectively to meet customer demands and business goals.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Oversee and manage the procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs.
Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, including operations, sales, and finance, to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
Identify and evaluate potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
Monitor and analyze supplier performance and take corrective actions if necessary.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Prepare and present regular supply chain performance reports to senior management.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in supply chain management or a related role.
Solid knowledge of supply chain processes, best practices, and industry trends.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficient in using supply chain management software and systems.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
