Job Description

The Supply Chain Executive position is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring seamless operations and efficient management of the entire supply chain process. This role demands a strategic thinker with keen attention to detail and a knack for optimizing processes. As a Supply Chain Executive, you will oversee the procurement, production, distribution, and logistics activities to ensure the smooth flow of goods from suppliers to customers. Your ability to build strong relationships with vendors and cross-functional teams will be crucial in creating streamlined processes that enhance efficiency while minimizing costs. Your initiatives will drive improvements in inventory management, transportation logistics, and supplier performance, ultimately contributing to the overall success and profitability of the company.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize process efficiency.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to manage procurement and ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust strategies to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce supply chain costs and enhance service quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with business goals.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and develop relationships to improve performance metrics.
  • Oversee the transportation and logistics operations to ensure efficient product distribution.
  • Analyze data and generate reports to track supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and environmental standards in supply chain operations.
  • Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies for supply chain disruptions.
  • Train and mentor junior supply chain staff to build a strong team.
  • Continuously review and improve supply chain processes for greater agility and resilience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement roles.
  • Proven track record in leading and optimizing supply chain processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective vendor management.
  • Experience with supply chain software and ERP systems is required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
