Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Supplier Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing relationships with key suppliers and ensuring optimal communication between suppliers and our organization. You will work closely with various internal departments to align our supply chain strategy with business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, an analytical mindset, and a deep understanding of supplier relationship management. You will also play a key role in identifying opportunities for cost reduction and value improvement. This position demands exceptional organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a keen attention to detail.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key suppliers.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and address any identified issues.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize supplier terms and conditions.
  • Align supplier capabilities with the company's strategic sourcing objectives.
  • Monitor market trends to anticipate potential supply chain risks and opportunities.
  • Work closely with procurement and inventory teams to maintain optimum stock levels.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement supplier scorecards and performance metrics.
  • Identify areas for cost-saving initiatives and process efficiency improvements.
  • Resolve any supplier-related issues or disputes efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in supplier management.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on supplier performance and account status.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supplier relationship or account management.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills with proven results.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to derive insights from data.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
