We are currently hiring a Structural Manager with extensive experience in building construction projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both consulting and contracting environments, and proven expertise in leading a team of structural engineers and draftsmen.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of structural engineers and draftsmen throughout all stages of project development.
Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of structural design, drawings, and documentation.
Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and site teams to ensure proper integration of structural systems.
Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, authority regulations, and project specifications.
Provide technical guidance and value engineering solutions to optimize structural performance and cost-efficiency.
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address technical issues.
Liaise with consultants, contractors, and clients to resolve design and execution-related challenges.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum 15+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a strong track record in UAE-based building construction projects.
Experience working with both consulting and contracting companies in the UAE is essential.
Proven leadership in managing engineering teams and coordinating across disciplines.
Proficient in structural design and analysis software (e.g., ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE, AutoCAD, Revit).
Strong knowledge of local building regulations and international codes (ACI, BS, etc.).
