Engineering is more than design and delivery at Zutari; it is the craft of shaping possibility.
As a leading buildings, infrastructure engineering, and advisory practice with over 90 years of heritage across Africa and the Middle East, we work across the full infrastructure lifecycle to deliver innovative, digitally enabled solutions. From bridges and dams to energy systems and smart infrastructure, our work connects communities and unlocks long-term value.
We are looking for technical minds who see beyond constraints and are driven to engineer solutions that matter, today and for generations to come.

Review and process Inspection Requests (IRs) and ensure required preconditions are met before approvals or witnessing.
Review material submittals relevant to structural works (e.g. concrete, reinforcement steel, structural steel, bolts, grout, embedded items) and verify that on-site materials match approved submissions.
Support the review of shop drawings for constructability and compliance, as assigned by the Engineer.
Testing, Witnessing, and Quality Records
Witness and/or verify required tests and records, such as:
Concrete sampling, slump tests, temperature checks, and cube/crushing test results
Reinforcement material certificates and compliance records
Welding inspections, WPS/PQR compliance, and NDT reports where applicable
Bolt inspection and tightening records for structural steel works
Survey checks for line, level, plumb, verticality, and structural positioning
Load testing or proof testing where specified
Maintain daily inspection reports, progress logs, checklists, and photo records in line with project QA/QC requirements.
Identify, record, and report non-conformances (NCRs); recommend corrective actions and monitor timely closure.
Verify that rectification works and re-inspections are completed and properly documented.
Support snagging, as-built verification, and handover documentation readiness.
Coordinate with project engineers, contractor teams, subcontractors, and authority representatives (e.g. RTA/DM) to resolve technical and site-related issues.
Escalate risks and issues early, including concerns related to quality, safety, programme, access, interfaces, and permits.
Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements at all times.
Stop works or raise concerns regarding unsafe practices and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
