Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Structural Inspector (Bridge) to join our team! In this role you will get to performs continuous surveillance of assigned inspection activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

What Youll Be Doing

• Inspects site conditions to ensure suitability for the designed permanent works.
• Give practical advise on constructional matters.
• Inspect construction, including temporary, works to ensure compliance with approved methods and contract requirements.
• Maintain records of inspections, work executed, etc.
• Direct Inspectors and ensure performance.
• Assist in or measure work done when required.
• Observe site safety procedures.
• Assist in preparation of “as-built” drawings.
• Assist with inspection of completed works, prepare sang lists and handover to operating authority.
  
  
  

What Required Skills Youll Bring

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university with minimum 5 years of experience in inspection and rehabilitation of bridges, Or
• Associate Diploma in Civil, or Structural Engineering with minimum 7 years experience in inspection and rehabilitation of bridge projects.
• Knowledge and experience using computer software such as MS Office, Maximo, Aconex and AutoCAD (Read only).
• Good oral and written communication skills in English and ability to communicate logically and clearly with management and staff.
• Commitment to safe work practices.
  
  
  

What Desired Skills Youll Bring

• Relative project work experience in Dubai, UAE, or GCC in an engineering consulting firm is preferred.
• Approval from clients and authorities in UAE will be added advantage.
