Job Description

A Structural Engineer plays a crucial role in the construction and infrastructure sectors, ensuring that structures like buildings, bridges, and roads are safe, sustainable, and able to withstand the demands placed upon them. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present technical reports and proposals to stakeholders and clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, innovations, and technological advancements in structural engineering.
  • Ensure projects comply with local, national, and international standards and environmental guidelines.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Identify potential risks in projects and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Participate in project review meetings to address design challenges and updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience with structural analysis software and computer-aided design tools.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
