Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This professional will bring expertise in designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of structures that must endure various environmental conditions and human use. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of material science, physics, and geometry along with proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) tools. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and safety of structures, working closely with architects, civil engineers, and construction managers to develop innovative solutions. This role is pivotal in bringing architectural visions to life while prioritizing structural soundness and efficiency. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability is essential in this role, as you will be influencing the built environment for future generations.


Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze structural components to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Develop detailed structural plans utilizing advanced computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate structural elements in design.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and compliance with specifications.
  • Perform load and stress testing to validate structural integrity and safety.
  • Recommend materials and construction methods based on project requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders and clients.
  • Ensure projects adhere to all relevant building codes and regulations.
  • Oversee the construction process to mitigate risks and ensure quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers to streamline project timelines.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and construction staff.
  • Monitor industry trends and apply innovative techniques to structural designs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in structural engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or eligibility to obtain it.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, or STAAD.Pro.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex engineering problems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with experience in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with reproducible quality and timely delivery.
