Structural Drafter

THE ROLE

• Apply your technical skills in REVIT to deliver structural documentation for multiple projects
• Work closely and collaboratively with the Drafting Manager and project team, leadership team, key stakeholders to deliver project objectives
• Carry out drafting work for the project in accordance with the project plan and XK drafting standards
• Coordinate designs with the project engineer and project leader
• Build positive and long-lasting relationships with peers, clients and partners
• Contribute to building XK reputation through consistent, high-quality project deliverables
• Meet and exceed client expectations through quality delivery of work

ABOUT YOU

• Team player with great energy and passion for structural drafting
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting or Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting
• 3-5 years in structural engineering building sector, with expertise in Revit for structural drawing documentation.
• High attention to detail and motivation towards furthering your technical skills
• Love to engage with others to build positive and long-lasting relationships
• Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
• Willingness to learn new skills and able to grasp new concepts quickly
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills with high attention to details

In this role, you will be working in a team to deliver high-profile projects across Sydney and will have opportunities to deliver projects from concept to completion, utilising and developing technical skills to creatively tackle drafting and modelling problems.

As an experienced Structural Revit Drafter, you have a demonstrated experience in the following:

• Solid understanding of design and drafting principles and detailing in Revit
• Extensive Revit skills to deliver structural documentation for multiple projects
• Solid Revit skills for high-rise projects, contributing to detailed structural documentation.
• Adaptable to XK Revit standards and proficient in utilizing plug-ins to enhance work efficiency and quality.
