Structural Design Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our multidisciplinary design team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and various stakeholders to develop and deliver comprehensive structural design packages for low-rise and high-rise buildings, ensuring full compliance with the design codes and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop the structural design of concrete and steel buildings across all project stages including 3D models, calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, MEP engineers, Revit modelers and project lead to deliver fully integrated designs.
• Ensure all designs comply with the Dubai Building Code and relevant international standards.
• Effectively participate in design coordination meetings, technical reviews, and interdisciplinary workshops.
• Provide support during tendering and construction phases, including responding to RFIs and reviewing shop drawings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus)
• Minimum 7 years of proven experience in the structural design of buildings and towers (both concrete and steel structures).
• Valid “G+12” accreditation from Dubai Municipality (mandatory).
• Extensive experience with structural design software: ETABS, SAFE, Ram Concept, PROKON, STAAD Pro, and REVIT.
• Good understanding of architectural design principles, Dubai Building Code, and construction methodologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated ability to meet project deadlines while delivering accurate and high-quality work
