Job Description

To develop and deliver high-quality structural designs that meet client requirements, project objectives, and relevant engineering standards, while ensuring that structural concepts are accurately translated into the construction phase through effective coordination with architects, engineers, contractors, and key stakeholders. The role is essential in maintaining full compliance with local and international building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability principles, integrating advanced structural analysis tools, innovative materials, and best engineering practices. Additionally, this role supports the organization through detailed technical documentation, contribution to bids and proposals, and consistent reporting to management across all project stages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and analyze structural elements for buildings, bridges, towers, and other infrastructure projects
  • Utilize structural analysis and design software such as CAD , Revit, SAP2000, ETABS, and STAAD Pro
  • Develop structural models, engineering calculations, and technical drawings to support design concepts
  • Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other project stakeholders to integrate structural designs within overall project plans
  • Provide technical guidance to drafting teams and review drawings for accuracy and compliance with standards
  • Participate in project meetings and provide input on structural-related matters
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications
  • Identify and resolve construction-related issues, discrepancies, and technical challenges
  • Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and other construction documentation
  • Ensure all structural designs comply with applicable local, national, and international building codes and regulations
  • Maintain organized records of all project documents and correspondence
  • Assist in preparing bids, tenders, proposals, and other project submissions
  • Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams and related departments
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably within an engineering consultancy.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD Pro, and AutoCAD.
  • Core Competencies: Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and structural behavior.
