Responsibilities

• Analyze configurations of the basic components of a structure.
• Prepare reports, designs, and drawings for structural projects.
• Ensure structural designs comply with both industry standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct stability and strength calculations for designed structures.
• Liaise with professional staff such as architects and builders.
• Provide technical advice to design, construction, or engineering issues.
• Assess and advise on potential risks in construction projects.
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) technology for simulation models.
• Carry out site visits to monitor project progress and compliance.
• Participate in project meetings with stakeholders to discuss expectations.
• Develop progress reports and present them to management and clients.
• Ensure projects are completed within budgetary and time constraints.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Licensure as a professional engineer (PE) is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural design engineering.
• Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software and drafting.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills for problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration within a team.
• Thorough understanding of building codes and health & safety regulations.
