We are seeking a skilled Structural BIM Technician to join our team. As a Structural BIM Technician, you will be responsible for creating and managing building information models for infrastructure projects. Your expertise will be crucial in developing detailed drawings and models to assist in designing structures that meet all necessary codes and regulations. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure the accurate representation and integration of structural elements within the project. Your role will involve utilizing advanced BIM software to enhance the design process, optimizing project efficiency, and facilitating effective communication across all project stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural engineering principles, exceptional technical skills in BIM software, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive building information models for structural projects.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals on design specifications.
• Ensure structural models comply with industry codes and regulations.
• Utilize BIM software to enhance project design and delivery.
• Prepare detailed drawings and documentation for structural elements.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve issues within the BIM environment.

• Assist in the preparation of model-based cost estimation and analysis.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency in models.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss and resolve modeling issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Structural BIM Technician or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant BIM software.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in design execution.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
