• Conducting banking industry analysis and research to identify market trends, customer needs, and industry developments. While majority of analysis will be focused on Middle East, ability to connect to global trends is a plus.
• Maintaining various benchmarks of banking clients, sourced from media, brokers, client disclosures and relevant Deloitte client work.
• Elevating those analysis and benchmark into strategic insights and presenting as part of executive discussion decks.
• Presenting those insights to select clients as part of client meetings, following up on queries.

• Ideal candidate is an ex-consultant (Manager , Senior Manager level) with strategy background who is looking to move away from sales and delivery KPIs and is open to working within the enabling functions. The candidate will be measured on the ability to do targeted research and turning data into relevant insights.
• While the role location is flexible, the candidate must have experience with Middle East banks or ideally is based in the Middle East.
• As this is a contractor role, the candidate must have the ability to self-sponsor (e.g. in Dubai it is only possible for Dependent /Golden visa holders).
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• 8+ years of Banking knowledge and experience – prior experience and/or a focus on banking, with a deep understanding of the industry and broader financial services sector is a must.
• Ability to turn research into strategic insights and confidence to present to the clients directly.
• Passionate about research and analysis - with experience in extracting insights and developing industry analysis briefings for senior leaders.
• Excellent power point and excel skills.
• The candidate will be expected to prepare visually impactful discussion decks in power point
• The candidate will be expected to maintain various benchmarking models in excel using macros, pivots, charts, and functions
• Keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and ability to interact with multiple senior stakeholders
• English language fluency required, Arabic language is preferred
