Job Description

About The Role

Subko is a specialty coffee, cacao, and bakehouse brand built on obsessive sourcing, in-house roasting, and the belief that coffee, chocolate, and bread deserve the same rigor as fine dining. What began as a single coffee bar has grown into a multi-city, multi-format brand across India and the UAE — cafés, an all-day bakehouse, our own chocolate program — built by people who care as much about the craft as the business behind it.

Dubai is the newest chapter of that story, and it's still being written. We're looking for an Omnichannel Sales Executive to help write the go-to-market playbook in real time — someone who can carry a pitch, close a deal, and just as comfortably keep five different parts of the business moving in step behind it. You'll be the connective tissue between Subko's brand and the platforms, partners, and retailers where our products actually reach customers — from a shopper adding our coffee to a 10-minute delivery cart, to a corporate client opening a beautifully packed gifting box, to a buyer at a premium retailer deciding where our chocolate sits on the shelf.

It's a build role as much as a run role: two of our channels are live and growing, three are still being stood up from scratch, and you'll have a hand in shaping all five.

Key Responsibilities

  • Institutional Partnerships / Wholesale (Caffeinated by Subko) — Live
  • Keep our existing (CBs) Caffeinated by Subko accounts healthy and growing — order cycles, replenishment, and the relationship work that keeps clients coming back.
  • Define that caffeinated by subko (cbs) is our branded, curated wholesale (B2B2C) program for specialty coffee beans, ready to drink coffee products, bean to bar chocolate to a range of channels including cafes, corporate offices, hospitality ventures, hotels, restaurants, lounges, airlines, and other institutional clients.
  • Go out and win new small-to-mid-sized institutional and wholesale accounts yourself, from first conversation to signed deal; bring in the Director for the bigger, more strategic ones.
  • Own the paperwork behind every deal proposals, pricing, contracts, margin accuracy so nothing slips once the handshake happens.
  • Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales, revenue, and category growth targets across assigned channels, identifying new commercial opportunities to maximize business performance.
  • Quick Commerce & E-commerce Marketplaces — Live
  • Be the primary relationship with platform ops and category teams — onboarding, account health, stock availability, and the inevitable fire drills.
  • Brief and manage the external agency running our listings, content, and marketing on these platforms; you own the outcome, they own the execution.
  • Pitch and close new listings or placement opportunities directly when they don't need the Director in the room.
  • Keep a close eye on sell-through, sell-in, visibility, and what competitors are doing, and report it upward to the Omnichannel Head.
  • Own sales growth, category growth, and revenue targets across assigned channels, delivering sustainable commercial performance through proactive business development and account management.
  • D2C Website — Build Phase
  • Help stand up Subko's Dubai D2C presence from the ground up, working between the Omnichannel Head's strategy and the agencies and vendors bringing it to life — platform, fulfillment, payments.
  • Once it's live, run the day-to-day: order flow, inventory sync, and keeping an eye on performance.
  • Modern Trade / Retail — Build Phase
  • Build relationships with retail partners for our coffee and chocolate lines and close the small-to-mid-sized ones yourself; the Director leads conversations with major accounts like Spinneys.
  • Work with merchandising and supply chain to make sure we're actually on the shelf, and correctly, once we're listed.
  • Plan and run in-store visibility moments — secondary displays, sampling, seasonal placements.
  • Take ownership of achieving channel sales targets, accelerating category growth, and identifying new revenue opportunities while ensuring long-term commercial success across all assigned business channels.
  • Gifting — Build Phase
  • Build the Dubai gifting program from scratch basis central strategy, and pitch, negotiate, and close small-to-mid corporate and B2B gifting deals yourself; loop in the Director for the large corporate opportunities.
  • Coordinate sampling, seasonal campaigns, and fulfillment so every gifting order lands the way it should.
  • Spatial Buyouts and external events — Live
  • Manage pipeline of clients for spatial buyouts and external events from a commercial angle, working together with marketing team for any branding requirements and operations team for execution
  • Align all deals with paperwork and payments; handover to marketing and operations for execution
  • Ensure P&Ls and documentation is maintained for all events, be the client POC
  • Generate new leads for spatial buyouts and external events to drive forward revenue targets

Cross-Functional Coordination & Reporting

  • Be the person who makes sure work actually gets done across all channels — the link between the Omnichannel Head's strategy and the Director's client-facing work.
  • Partner closely with supply chain, marketing and operationss to keep fulfillment on track across every channel.
  • Keep reporting clean and current pipeline, revenue vs. target, account health for the Head and Director to work off.
  • Feed what you're hearing from customers and channels back into the business to shape product and pricing decisions.

What We're Looking For

  • 2–5 years in business development, key account management, e-commerce/quick commerce, or B2B sales — ideally in F&B, FMCG, hospitality, gifting, or premium consumer brands.
  • A real track record of pitching, negotiating, and closing deals yourself — not just managing accounts someone else won.
  • Genuine conviction and the ability to sell a concept or an idea, not just a product — this isn't a background built on selling necessities.
  • Hands-on experience with quick commerce or marketplace platforms in the UAE/GCC, ideally including working alongside an external agency on listings and marketing.
  • Sharp organisational and analytical instincts — comfortable in Excel/Sheets, platform dashboards, CRM hygiene, and reporting that people can actually trust.
  • A high degree of ownership and disciplined follow-through, with the patience to build three channels from zero while keeping two already-live ones running well.
  • Comfortable carrying monthly and quarterly revenue targets across multiple channels at once.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to run a pitch and close a deal solo when it's called for.
  • Based in Dubai, and happy to be on the road for partner and client visits.
