Under supervision of the Maintenance Manager the Storekeeper is responsible for the organization and maintaining of the Warehouse by purchasing, receiving, and storing spare and wear parts but also tools and consumables. The use of the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a key function in his daily work.
1.2 Job Responsibilities
Takes an active role in working with the operations and maintenance personnel in prioritizing work to be done and in coordinating activities with maintenance.
Review timeliness of schedules deliveries
Tracks inventory levels
Order new supplies in a timely manner
Ensure that the facility equipment is properly maintained, especially tools.
Sets up and pre-stages parts from the warehouse and helps in finding and retrieving parts from the warehouse to expedite work.
Maintains CMMS records and is preparing the request of purchasing for spare- and wear parts.
Annual inventorty of all parts, consumables and tools.

Must possess a High School diploma or GED, and an apprenticeship or electronic technical school diploma
Must have completed training and obtain forklift operator certification.
1.4 Job Experience
Must be knowledgeable and experience in using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
Atleast 3+ years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping

Inventory & Storekeeping: Demonstrate ability and understanding standard concepts of storekeeping and best practices in storekeeping, recordkeeping and inventory control.
Organizing and Task Planning: Plans,organizes and prioritize own work activities coherently with departments objectives to meet agreed standards in terms of quality, and deadlines.
Accountability: Demonstrate sense of responsibility and ownership of own actions, own assigned objectives, activities and processes.
Adaptability: Demonstrate reliability, high ability to work under pressure, social competency, ability to manage conflict, assertiveness and service oriented. Familiarise self with new knowledge, duties and working method arising from change.
Team Work: Shows the ability and desire to work co-operatively with team member from different cultures and background.
Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English.
