Job Description

The Store Manager for a Pharmacy is a pivotal role that ensures the smooth and efficient operation of our pharmacy store. This position is reserved for individuals who hold a DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license, which is a testament to their professional training and competence in the pharmaceutical domain. Our pharmacy is designed to not only provide essential medications but also create a caring environment for our customers. As a Store Manager, you’ll be in charge of overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring compliance with health regulations, managing inventory, and ultimately providing exceptional customer service. Our ideal candidate will be a skilled leader with experience in the pharmacy sector, who can inspire their team, exceed customer expectations, and drive the store to new heights of excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the pharmacy's daily operations and overall function.
  • Ensure compliance with Dubai Health Authority regulations and guidelines at all times.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop the pharmacy staff to achieve optimal performance.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering, restocking, and record-keeping processes.
  • Develop and implement customer service strategies to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints to maintain customer trust.
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports to identify trends and improve sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with pharmaceutical suppliers to secure the best products and pricing.
  • Ensure the pharmacy maintains a clean, safe, and organized environment for staff and customers.
  • Plan and manage staff schedules to ensure coverage and efficiency within the store.
  • Monitor financial transactions and ensure accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Conduct regular meetings with pharmacists and staff to address any operational issues.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid DHA license to operate within Dubai's jurisdiction.
  • Proven experience in pharmacy management or a similar pharmaceutical role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate team members.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for diverse interactions.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management and control procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy and service.
  • Proficient in using pharmacy and retail management software applications.
