Job Description

As a Store Manager, your role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and overall success of the store. You will be responsible for upholding exceptional standards of customer service, overseeing daily operations, and leading the store team to achieve sales goals. Your strategic approach and leadership will drive store profitability while maintaining a positive work environment. You will manage inventory, optimize staff performance, and implement safety protocols. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations and ensure all activities align with company standards.
  • Lead the store team to meet and exceed sales and fundraising goals.
  • Implement and monitor stock management systems to optimize inventory control.
  • Ensure all team members provide exceptional customer service and cultivate customer relationships.
  • Develop and maintain schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels are met.
  • Foster an inclusive environment that empowers team members and encourages professional growth.
  • Identify and address operational and sales challenges promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to the team.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies at all times.
  • Evaluate store performance reports and develop strategic plans for improvements.
  • Coordinate with other departments to streamline operations and improve store performance.
  • Manage budget controls by overseeing expenses, minimizing losses, and optimizing resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining organized and efficient workflows.
  • Proficient in using retail management and point of sale software systems.
  • Ability to analyze financial and sales reports to make informed business decisions.
