Store keeper

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory.

Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring that all stock levels are updated regularly.

Conduct regular stock counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.

Manage stock rotations and ensure that products are stored according to company standards.

Store Operations:

Organize and maintain the store layout to optimize space and accessibility.

Ensure the store area is clean, organized, and free from hazards.

Implement and maintain store security protocols to prevent theft and damage.

Order Fulfillment:

Prepare and fulfill customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.

Coordinate with the procurement team to replenish stock as needed.

Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.

Record Keeping:

Maintain detailed records of all stock movements, including receipts, dispatches, and returns.

Generate regular inventory reports for management review.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding inventory control.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.

Provide training and guidance to junior staff or new hires on storekeeping procedures.
