Overview Of The Role:

  • The Store Executive is pivotal in ensuring the efficient operation of the store by managing system transfers, picking items based on requests, and maintaining accurate records. The role is designed to meet the demands of a healthcare environment, requiring attention to detail, timely deliveries, and adherence to inventory policies. This position supports the store supervisor by executing initiatives to maintain an organized inventory and ensuring all supply chain processes meet the clinical demands.

What You Will Do:

Consumables Request Management

  • Process new requests based on the schedule and reprocess pending requests for generating pick slips.
  • Ensure all requisitioned goods reach the intended user department.
  • Pick items from racks based on the generated pick slip and pack for delivery.
  • Ensure accuracy of the items during picking with good shelf-life (following FEFO), avoiding discrepancies and returns.
  • Maintain a comprehensive up-to-date document filing and retrieval system for all store transactions.

System Transfer Shipments and Returns Management

  • Complete system transfers once items are packed and ready for shipping.
  • Ensure transfers are done accurately with no discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with the clinical team for alternates and modify the TR accordingly for precise fulfilment ratio.
  • Manage returns in accordance with SCM policy, and arrange items in Expiry Rooms/allocated racks.

Shelf Life and Expiry Monitoring

  • Monitor the shelf life and expiry of items monthly by conducting rounds across the storage location.
  • Segregate items in compliance with the expiry policy.

Logistics and Distribution

  • Maintain the distribution schedule of units ensuring timely deliveries.

  • Effective people management skills, both direct and indirect.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Cultural awareness and ability to build strong relationships.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

  • Diploma in Stores Management or equivalent essential.
  • At least 3 year of work experience, preferably in a hospital/clinical supply chain.
  • Experience in UAE/GCC is essential.
  • Strong communication and people management skills, capable of working independently and leading teams.
