Store Associate | MAF Retail | Supermarket (Express) UAE

Role Summary

The Store Associate is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of selling and storage areas by maintaining product availability, organizing shelves and displays, supporting receiving and cash office activities, and delivering excellent customer service. The role contributes to achieving sales targets, maintaining accurate product presentation and pricing, and ensuring compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and operational requirements.

ROLE PROFILE

• Receive, check, replenish, and display products according to company standards and planograms.
• Ensure shelves are organized, clean, well-stocked, and correctly priced and labeled.
• Support stock management activities and identify slow-moving or near-expiry items.
• Assist customers with product inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Support receiving operations while following company procedures and safety regulations.
• Assist at cash counters by scanning products, processing payments, and packing purchases.
• Perform cash handling, reconciliation, and security procedures accurately.
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and operational standards across store and warehouse areas.
  
  

• Experience in retail, supermarket, hypermarket, customer service, cashier, or stock handling environments.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• 6-12 months of commercial or retail experience.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge is preferred.
