Job Description

The Store Associate 01D25 plays a pivotal role in day-to-day operations of a retail store, serving as the first point of contact for our valued customers. This position focuses on delivering excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction while also supporting the store's operational needs. The Store Associate will report to the Store Manager and will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, offering product knowledge to customers, and executing inventory tasks efficiently. A successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about retail and are looking to grow their careers within a reputable organization.


Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and help them find merchandise that suits their needs.
  • Manage transactions at the cash register with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist with stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a tidy store environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and advising on product selection.
  • Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all merchandise is correctly priced and tagged before placement on the sales floor.
  • Participate in store inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Merchandise new products and set up promotional displays as per the seasonal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales targets and objectives.
  • Report any suspicious activity or security concerns to management immediately.
  • Stay informed about product details, store promotions, and company policies.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and represent the store in a professional manner always.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred for this position.
  • Previous retail, customer service, or cash handling experience is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for interacting with customers.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting merchandise.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to accurately process transactions and stock merchandise.
  • Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management tools.
