Job Description

Our automotive spare parts store is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Store Assistant to join our dynamic team at location code 21N25. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the efficient operation of our store, providing exemplary customer service, and ensuring that our shelves are well-stocked with the latest automotive spare parts. Your passion for cars and parts, combined with your strong organizational skills, will be essential in helping customers find exactly what they need. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, quick to learn, and able to handle a variety of tasks in a busy retail environment. Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in locating desired automotive spare parts quickly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stocking of spare parts.
  • Process customer transactions using point-of-sale equipment accurately and efficiently.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, both in-person and via phone or email.
  • Provide knowledgeable advice on automotive spare parts and compatible products.
  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill special orders and requests from customers.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store.
  • Assist in setting up displays and promotional materials to increase sales visibility.
  • Handle the unpacking of shipments and the organizational placement of inventory items.
  • Manage returns and exchanges according to company policies to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure the security of the store by following opening and closing procedures attentively.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to keep updated with automotive product knowledge.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required.
  • Previous experience in a retail or automotive environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to assist customers.
  • Proficiency with computers, including familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Willingness to stand for long periods and lift heavy items if necessary.
  • Enthusiasm for automobiles and automotive parts, with a willingness to learn more.
