Job Description

As a Stock Coordinator, you will play an integral role in managing and maintaining inventory processes within our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring that stock levels are consistently maintained and efficiently organized, which is crucial to the smooth operation of our supply chain. Your role will include monitoring stock movements, organizing logistics, and coordinating with various departments to ensure that inventory levels are synchronized with market demands. You will also contribute to the effective management of both inbound and outbound inventory, ensuring that our stock control processes are optimized and well-coordinated. This position requires a meticulous attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records across all storage locations.
  • Coordinate daily stock movements and ensure timely processing of orders.
  • Regularly update inventory databases to reflect accurate stock levels and changes.
  • Monitor supply chain logistics and communicate with suppliers as necessary.
  • Utilize inventory management systems to improve stock control and efficiency.
  • Ensure that all inventory processes comply with company policies and regulations.
  • Prepare and analyze inventory reports for management review and decision-making.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventories and database records.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize stock turnover and minimize waste.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to align stock levels with market demand predictions.
  • Facilitate the training of new staff on inventory management policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with finance departments to manage inventory cost projections and analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory management or stock coordination roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with suppliers and internal departments.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy in data management.
  • Ability to troubleshoot inventory issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations relating to inventory management.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
