The Stock Coordinator (07D25) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth management and organization of inventory within a company. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels, track shipments, and oversee inventory audits. As a Stock Coordinator, you will work closely with various departments, including purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams, to ensure that stock levels meet business requirements and reduce any discrepancies. Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize company inventory in a systematic and orderly fashion.
  • Monitor stock levels and generate reports detailing inventory fluctuations regularly.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely ordering of new stock items.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with records.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.
  • Track shipments and assist in resolving issues related to delayed deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies regarding inventory.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and suggest improvements in stock management.
  • Liaise with warehouse staff to streamline stock handling and minimize damages.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to facilitate smooth stock replenishment.
  • Oversee the implementation and management of inventory software systems.
  • Provide training and support to junior staff members in stock management practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Stock Coordinator or similar inventory management role.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage inventory efficiently.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate stock management.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with other departments and suppliers.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and handle pressure effectively.
