Job Description

As a Stock Assurance Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management and optimization of inventory levels within the organization. This position demands a detail-oriented professional who can meticulously track and manage stock movements, maintain accurate records, and implement effective inventory control procedures. Your objective will be to minimize discrepancies, prevent shortages or overstock situations, and contribute to a seamless supply chain process. You will collaborate closely with various departments including procurement, sales, and logistics to ensure smooth operations and fulfill the organization's service and product delivery commitments. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting regular stock audits, analyzing data to forecast future stock needs, and recommending improvements in stock management strategies. This role is vital in driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages and excess stock situations.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies in inventory records.
  • Implement effective inventory control measures to optimize stock management.
  • Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely stock replenishment.
  • Analyze stock data to predict future inventory needs and trends accurately.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive stock management reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in stock handling processes.
  • Liaise with sales teams to understand demand patterns and adjust stock levels accordingly.
  • Improve existing stock management systems and implement new technologies where feasible.
  • Facilitate training for team members on best stock management practices and procedures.
  • Proactively identify potential supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Work alongside quality control to ensure product standards are consistently met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in inventory management or stock control positions is required.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex stock data.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in stock management duties.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in inventory handling processes.
