Job Description

The Stock Assurance Executive is a pivotal role within our supply chain operations, essential for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of stock management. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset to oversee and maintain stock integrity. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, performing audits, and ensuring compliance with stock policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management and a strong analytical background to effectively track and manage stock flows. The Stock Assurance Executive will collaborate closely with various departments, including procurement, logistics, and sales, to optimize stock usage and minimize discrepancies. A proactive attitude and strong communication skills are essential to successfully drive stock assurance processes and contribute to the overall efficiency of supply chain operations.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet operational demands.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure stock accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to smoothen stock flow processes.
  • Analyze stock discrepancies and implement corrective measures promptly.
  • Develop and update stock management procedures and policies as needed.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to forecast and adjust stock requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports on stock movement and inventory status monthly.
  • Implement inventory control techniques to minimize stock loss and wastage.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track stock levels efficiently.
  • Assist in setting targets and goals for stock turnover and management.
  • Train and support staff in best stock handling and management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies in stock management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in inventory management or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with multiple departments effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
