Job Description

The Stock Assurance Executive plays a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and effective inventory management process within our organization. This position requires a meticulous and systematic approach to manage stock levels, oversee inventory movements, and ensure accurate data recording across all stock transactions. As a Stock Assurance Executive, you will be responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels, conducting regular audits, and implementing control mechanisms to prevent discrepancies. By utilizing your analytical skills, you will support operational efficiency and meet business objectives. This role requires collaboration with various departments to achieve shared goals and improve inventory management practices. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude towards stock management challenges.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor stock levels to ensure that inventory is adequately maintained at all times.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to optimize stock replenishment strategies.
  • Develop and implement inventory management control systems and procedures.
  • Analyze inventory trends to forecast future stock needs accurately and effectively.
  • Prepare detailed inventory reports for internal and external stakeholders periodically.
  • Assist in developing policies that contribute to improved inventory accuracy.
  • Work closely with warehouse staff to optimize space utilization and organization.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies regarding stock handling.
  • Identify and resolve potential issues affecting stock availability and distribution.
  • Provide training support to staff for maintaining inventory accuracy and standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to promote a cohesive inventory management strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret quantitative data effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are critical for this role.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Strong communication skills for interaction with various departmental teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines consistently.
