Job Description

The Design Engineer is responsible for the design and development of STAAR’s aviation refueling vehicles, fuel handling equipment, and supporting components. The role focuses on creating robust, manufacturable designs using SolidWorks, maintaining engineering documentation, and ensuring accurate product structures through effective management of drawings, part numbers, and Bills of Materials (BOMs). The Design Engineer works closely with Production Engineering and Purchasing to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and optimized for manufacturing.
