Job Description

As a Sr. Supply Chain Executive, you will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the supply chain operations of our organization. Your primary focus will be on developing strategies to streamline the supply chain processes, ensuring the efficient movement of goods from suppliers to customers. By collaborating closely with different departments, including procurement, logistics, and operations, you will aim to maximize efficiency and reduce costs without compromising quality. You will be responsible for analyzing supply chain data and identifying areas for improvement, thereby contributing to the overall success and competitiveness of the company. This position requires a proactive professional with strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials from suppliers.
  • Monitor logistics operations to ensure smooth transportation and distribution of goods.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions for optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent quality and reliability.
  • Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all supply chain activities.
  • Implement risk management strategies to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Prepare reports and present findings to senior management for informed decision-making.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in supply chain management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supply chain management role.
  • Strong analytical skills with a knack for problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Proven experience in optimizing supply chain operations and reducing costs effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build positive supplier relationships.
  • Familiarity with supply chain software and tools for data analysis and process improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead cross-functional projects.
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements and industry standards in supply chain.
