Job Summary

We are actively looking for a Sr. Business Development Manager who owns and grows the DCBBS pipeline (compute/storage/networking) by expanding enterprise and data center accounts, deepening executive sponsorship, and driving joint pursuits with key partners. This role owns pipeline generation, deal strategy, and execution across the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through contracting and close, while aligning cross-functional resources to deliver outcomes to customers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop vertical/territory sales goals and build account plans that map decision makers, influencers, and success criteria.
  • Identify, win, and expand enterprise accounts; establish multi-threaded relationships and executive sponsorship.
  • Prospect via cold calls/email/social campaigns and industry events; continuously refresh target lists.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (commercial/technical/ops) to ensure solution alignment, delivery excellence, and customer experience.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline, credible forecasting, and strong CRM documentation.
  • Negotiate pricing/contracts and coordinate internal approvals (finance/legal/ops as needed).
  • Lead QBRs and pipeline reviews; ensure business cadence consistency.
  • Provide guidance to junior associates on prospecting, CRM standards, and account planning (as needed).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years BD/enterprise sales experience in data center infrastructure (servers/storage/networking).
  • Proven track record building pipeline and closing complex pursuits with multi-stakeholder buying groups.
  • Strong ability to translate technical needs into business outcomes and ROI narratives.
  • Fluent in pipeline discipline, CRM usage, and forecasting accountability.
  • Strong executive communication, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of x86 architecture/enterprise infrastructure preferred.
