Sr QA QC Engineer

The Senior QA/QC Engineer will join Danube Properties Projects Onsite department to oversee and enforce quality standards across all high‑rise construction activities. Reporting to the Project Manager, the role ensures compliance with client specifications, UAE regulations, and international best practices, driving continuous improvement and delivering defect‑free structures.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection checklists for high‑rise projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections, material testing, and workmanship audits to verify compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve quality issues promptly.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports to senior management.
• Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with UAE building codes, fire safety, and environmental regulations.
• Lead non‑conformance investigations, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Facilitate internal and external audits, ensuring readiness for client and regulatory inspections.
• Mentor junior QA/QC staff and provide training on quality standards and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and recommend best‑practice enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10–12+ years of QA/QC experience in large contracting firms within the UAE.
• Extensive experience on high‑rise construction projects.
• Professional certifications such as QA/QC Engineer, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE building codes, civil works specifications, and safety standards.
• Proficiency with QA/QC software tools and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work on-site under demanding schedules and conditions.
