Description
The Amazon Community Impact (ACI) team helps Amazon prioritize and address societal problems where we can make a difference by leveraging the companys unique assets (technology, people, logistics, expertise). With over 1.5 million Amazonians living and working across 60+ countries, there is unprecedented opportunity to scale collective impact by connecting our greatest asset—our people—to community initiatives through volunteering. We view volunteering as a strategic advantage that can amplify each of our Global Community Impact Giving priorities: disaster relief, food security, and education.
The ACI Volunteering teams vision is to cultivate a culture of volunteering where Amazonians use their time, experience, and skills to shape a better tomorrow for our local communities, planet, and future generations. Through globally relevant products and programs we enable and enhance the volunteering experience for Amazonians.
The Executive Volunteering Lead owns volunteering strategy and products for a portfolio of global senior leaders (Directors, Vice Presidents, Senior VPs, C-Suite) and their organizations. This role works backwards from executive and business priorities to create strategic plans, build scalable products, and drive measurable community and employee impact.
You will define product strategy based on deep customer understanding and operate comfortably at all organizational levels, from presenting to executives to working hands-on with Community Ambassadors (volunteer event coordinators). You excel at translating vision into execution, analyzing data, and building scalable mechanisms, with the executive presence to influence senior leadership while remaining approachable to frontline volunteers.
Examples Of What You Will Build
- Comprehensive reporting tools that track KPIs, forecast volunteering trends, and predict engagement gaps with an initial focus on WW Operations—Amazons most diverse and geographically distributed organization.
- Voice of customer feedback loops to systematically identify pain points and product opportunities, ensuring feature requirements adapt to WW Operations unique environment.
- AI-powered workflows that suggest personalized volunteering recommendations aligned with executive priorities and organizational objectives.
- Go-to-market mechanisms for launching new product features and driving adoption across broad audiences and geographies.
