This role involves:

  • Leading account management for our anchor tenant Dubai Basketball.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact, ensuring seamless delivery of all services and deliverables while building lasting client relationships.
  • Working cross-functionally across departments such as ticketing, marketing, operations, and commercial to ensure excellence in execution and client satisfaction.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary account lead and point of contact for Dubai Basketball. Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to support client retention and future business opportunities. Conduct regular client check-ins, gather feedback, and implement necessary actions to enhance service delivery. Share client feedback with internal teams for continuous improvement.
  • Project & Event Execution: Oversee timely and high-quality execution of all contractual and operational deliverables. Attend and support all Dubai Basketball home games. Ensure reliability and responsiveness on event days; remain contactable and available to resolve any urgent issues. Manage reporting respective to gamedays.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution. Provide clear and consistent communication to both internal teams and external stakeholders regarding progress, updates, and issues.
  • Client Strategy & Growth: Collaborate with the Sports Projects team to identify commercial opportunities. Attend all client-related meetings including pre-event and post-event briefs, ensuring full alignment and follow-through.

You should have:

Qualifications:

  • Degree or certification in Business, Hospitality Management, Sports Management, Marketing, or any related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in similar role in Account Management.
  • Previous experience in the UAE, preferably in the event industry.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Arabic is a plus.

Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • IT literate including the full Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work with multicultural team.
  • Listening skills.
  • Creative thinking.
  • Influential communicator.
  • Driving license and car (Desirable).
