Role overview:



The role requires a Community Manager, with a strong background in sport engagement to deliver a national program in embedding American football within the UAE.


The successful applicant will be responsible for crafting the national program and overseeing the delivery of flag football coaching sessions, delivered on behalf of a leading NFL team and their partners and suppliers.


The Community Manager will also be responsible for identifying and planning new opportunities to integrate with wider education networks and local community organisations.


Role & responsibilities:


  • Identify new Community Supporter organisations with supporting rationale
  • Manage relationships and engagement with Community Supporter groups
  • Create and oversee the flag football plan for the region, including school and after-school opportunities
  • Manage relationships and communications with school stakeholders
  • Manage relationships and communications with wider education stakeholders
  • Identify new schools/education providers to extend the NFL team’s programme
  • Manage relationships and communications with other schools/education providers
  • Build connections and manage logistics with national level education groups
  • Create and manage budgets for flag football activity, incl. school packs requirements
  • Manage distribution of school equipment packs
  • Develop and manage a coaching accreditation scheme, in combination with NFL team members
  • Manage relationships with NFL team’s stakeholders, specific to community development initiatives
  • Other ad hoc tasks as requested by line management



Skills & Experience:


  • Proven experience delivering sport programmes to youth groups
  • Comfortable managing budgets
  • Experience in events logistics
  • Degree educated in sport, education or other relevant subject
  • Experience organising sporting events
  • Refined stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in business development (preferred)
