Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans tailored to each client's specific needs.
  • Utilize a variety of therapy techniques and tools to facilitate effective communication.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals for holistic treatment.
  • Provide education and counseling to clients and their families about communication disorders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation of therapy sessions.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Stay current with advancements in speech therapy techniques and methodologies.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  • Organize and conduct group therapy sessions for clients with similar communication challenges.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on client progress and treatment plans.
  • Advocate for clients’ needs within multidisciplinary teams and during care planning.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Proven experience in speech therapy practice delivering patient-centered care.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and developing effective treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and their families.
  • Ability to employ critical thinking to adapt therapy approaches to meet individual needs.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of industry trends.
