Job Summary:

The Office Administrative Associate supporting the Contracts Management Function is responsible for providing essential administrative support to the Director of Contracts Management to streamline contracts processes, manage Power BI dashboards, facilitate stakeholder engagement and develop the reports for management reporting, and coordinate team tasks. This role ensures efficient operations, accurate data presentation, and effective communication across teams and stakeholders

Key Accountabilities:

  • As part of EDGE Group’s International Operations team, the Project Controller will support the Project Controls function across a portfolio of high-profile, multi-national defence programs. This role supports the set-up and execution of robust project planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management activities, in line with company and industry best practices, to deliver projects to global customers on time and within budget. The role supports the senior project controllers in providing timely and insightful analytics and reporting to support successful project outcomes.
  • Core Accountabilities
  • Strategic & Functional Leadership
  • Support the implementation of project controls processes, and tools in line with defined processes and procedures tailored to complex international defence programs.
  • Provide support on all Project Control activities on individual projects.
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Project Controllers to ensure timely delivery of all project controls deliverables.
  • Integrated Project Planning & Scheduling
  • Support the development and maintenance of integrated master schedules (IMS) for international programs using Microsoft Project.
  • Develop and maintain ad-hoc detailed planning templates and reports using Microsoft suite of software.
  • Ensure all detailed data received and entered into schedules and plans is accurate and free of errors.
  • Project Cost Management & EVM
  • Support project budgets WBS/ CBS development on projects
  • Support update of actual costs vs. planned budgets, forecast Estimate at Completion (EAC), and identify cost variances proactively.
  • Risk & Opportunity Management
  • Support maintenance of project risk and opportunity register.
  • Support the development of quantitative risk analysis templates to model schedule and cost impacts.
  • Support regular status updates of mitigation actions and escalate missing data updates to line managers.
  • Reporting & Governance
  • Support the regular update of project dashboards, performance reports, and KPI’s as required for the project controls team.
  • Ensure timely updates of data inputs to ensure all project controls deliverables are issues on time.
  • Continuous Improvement & Compliance
  • Support initiatives to improve project controls tools and processes across EDGE’s International Programs.
  • Carry out all activities in line with internal policies, contractual requirements, and export control regulations.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and lessons learned initiatives.
  • Undertake other assignments from time to time, depending on the needs of the Business.
  • Support the update and issuance of Project Controls Process & Procedures as required.

Experience & Education Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in project controls, including at least 1 years in defence, aerospace, or advanced technology sectors with exposure to international programs.
  • Experience in projects cost control, planning and scheduling techniques.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, SAP and cost control systems preferable.
  • Experience in projects during execution (Post award phase) preferable.
  • Experience of International Programs preferable.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field;
  • Master’s preferred.
