Job Description

As a Regional People Ops Specialist, you’ll play a key role in driving the People agenda across the region. You’ll take ownership of regional (UAE and KSA) People operations, employee experience, and compliance, while championing culture and continuous improvement across the employee lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing

Operational Governance & Compliance:

  • Government Relations: Own the end-to-end management of government portals (e.g., MOHRE, AXS, Mudad, GOSI), ensuring total compliance with reporting and registration requirements.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively audit HR workflows to identify single points of failure, ensuring all processes are documented, digitized, and audit-ready.

Employee Lifecycle & Experience

  • Full-Cycle Operations: Lead the execution of core HR processes, including onboarding, compensation changes, benefits administration, and offboarding.
  • Onboarding Excellence: Manage the end-to-end relocation and integration experience - including visa processing, medical insurance, and local orientation - to ensure every new joiner is set up for long-term success.
  • First-Line Support: Act as the primary regional point of contact for People Ops queries, delivering timely, data-backed support via our ticketing system.

Process Transformation & Global Integration

  • System Optimization: Drive the adoption of AI-enabled HR tools to automate manual tasks and enhance regional operational speed. Introducing self serve.
  • Global Alignment: Partner with global People teams to ensure regional needs are embedded in international projects, championing a "local context, global standard" approach.
  • Vendor Management: Act as the primary liaison with external partners, including PRO-service providers and insurance brokers, to ensure high-quality service delivery. This includes managing proactive renewals of employees and their dependants.

Cultural & Capability Growth

  • Data-Driven Culture: Leverage HR Ops metrics to provide insights and drive operational optimisation actions ad projects.

We are looking for a highly organized, resilient, and proactive People Operations professional who thrives in high-growth, ambiguous environments. You should be a "builder at heart," capable of turning siloed information into scalable, documented processes.

Core Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive People Operations experience, with demonstrated, hands-on exposure to UAE and KSA labor markets.
  • Highly organised, process driven, likes to build systems.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Strong working knowledge of UAE/KSA employment law, regional labor legislation, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Technical Proficiency: Extensive practical experience managing UAE/KSA government portals (e.g., MOHRE, AXS, Mudad, GOSI). Experience with Workday or similar enterprise HRIS platforms is mandatory
  • Extensive experience liaising with Insurance providers, handling high volume of documents
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage given the nature of government communications and portal management.

  • Growth Mindset: An initiative-taker who is comfortable navigating ambiguity and is constantly seeking ways to enhance regional HR workflows through technology and AI.
