Job Description

As a Specialist in Interventional Radiology, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating patients using minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. This highly specialized field in medicine requires a unique combination of technical skill and patient care. The specialist will work closely with a diverse medical team to develop treatment plans, perform procedures, and ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain sophisticated interventional radiology equipment and instruments.
  • Interpret diagnostic images to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards in radiology.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families about the procedures.
  • Participate in continued education and training to stay current with medical advancements.
  • Document and maintain accurate patient records and procedure details.
  • Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Assist in the development of new protocols and procedures in interventional radiology.
  • Contribute to research initiatives and clinical trials as applicable in the field.

Requirements

  • Medical degree and specialized training in Interventional Radiology required.
  • Valid and active medical license along with board certification is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, pathology, and image-guided procedures.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and technical skills with radiology equipment.
  • Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure and emergency situations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and the highest professional standards.
  • Experience in a hospital setting, working in a multidisciplinary team preferred.
