Job Description
A leading Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced Specialist / Consultant – Endocrinology to join its specialized medical team.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care for patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders, managing complex cases through evidence-based diagnosis, treatment, and long-term follow-up. The role offers an opportunity to work alongside multidisciplinary teams in a well-established clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, evaluate, and manage a broad range of endocrine and metabolic disorders.
Provide comprehensive care for patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary conditions, osteoporosis, and other endocrine diseases.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment, laboratory investigations, and imaging.
Manage complex and high-risk endocrine cases and provide appropriate specialist consultations.
Monitor treatment response and adjust therapies according to clinical requirements.
Provide counseling and education to patients regarding disease management, lifestyle, and long-term care.
Collaborate with primary care physicians, surgeons, cardiologists, nephrologists, and other specialists as required.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with patient-safety and clinical governance standards.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, and continuing medical education.
Medical degree from a recognized institution.
Recognized postgraduate qualification in Endocrinology / Endocrinology and Metabolism.
Relevant Specialist or Consultant-level clinical experience.
Candidates with UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or German Board are encouraged to apply.
Strong clinical experience in managing complex endocrine and metabolic conditions.
Excellent diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Previous experience in a tertiary, teaching, or government hospital is advantageous.
