Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Specialist / Consultant Cardiovascular Surgeon to join our medical team in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide expert cardiovascular surgical care, ensuring high standards of patient safety, clinical excellence, and patient-centered treatment.

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular surgical conditions.
• Perform cardiovascular surgical procedures within the approved scope of practice and clinical privileges.
• Develop appropriate surgical and treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
• Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care and follow-up.
• Work closely with cardiologists, anesthetists, intensivists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical case discussions.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
• Follow UAE healthcare regulations, clinical protocols, and patient-safety standards.
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical governance, and continuing professional development activities.
• Provide guidance and support to junior medical staff and contribute to teaching and training where applicable.

• Candidates currently based outside the UAE are preferred.
• International candidates with recognized specialist qualifications and relevant cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgical experience are encouraged to apply.
• UAE licensing eligibility is required, subject to the applicable regulatory requirements.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• UK CCT/CCST in Cardiothoracic Surgery or an equivalent internationally recognized qualification.
• Relevant specialist or consultant-level experience in cardiovascular surgery.
• Valid UAE medical license or eligibility for licensing with the relevant UAE health authority.
• Strong clinical and surgical skills with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Consultant applicants must meet the applicable UAE regulatory requirements for Consultant classification.
