Specialist Consultant Anesthesiologist - Government Sector UAE

A leading Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE is seeking experienced Anesthesiologists to join its specialist medical team.

This opportunity is open to internationally trained physicians seeking to relocate to the UAE and offers the opportunity to work in a modern government healthcare environment with advanced surgical facilities, critical care services, and multidisciplinary clinical teams.

Candidates with internationally recognized qualifications, including UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board, are encouraged to apply.

• Provide safe and comprehensive anesthesia care for patients undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop appropriate anesthesia plans.
• Administer and monitor general, regional, and other appropriate forms of anesthesia.
• Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and respond promptly to changes in clinical condition.
• Provide post-operative anesthesia care and pain management.
• Manage airway and perioperative emergencies effectively.
• Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, emergency physicians, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Support the management of critically ill patients where required.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive anesthesia and patient records.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement programs, and departmental activities.
• Contribute to teaching, training, and continuing professional development where applicable.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection control, and evidence-based clinical practice.

• Medical degree such as MBBS, MD, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Anesthesiology / Anaesthesia.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
• Strong experience in general and regional anesthesia and perioperative patient management.
• Experience working in a hospital or multidisciplinary surgical environment.
• Candidates with UK CCT, Western Qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board are encouraged to apply.
