A leading Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE is seeking experienced Acute Medicine Physicians to join its specialist medical team.

This opportunity is open to internationally trained physicians seeking to relocate to the UAE and offers the opportunity to work within a modern government healthcare environment, providing high-quality care to patients presenting with acute and complex medical conditions.

Candidates with internationally recognized qualifications, including UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board, are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute and undifferentiated medical conditions.
  • Provide timely clinical assessment and initiate appropriate treatment and management plans.
  • Manage patients with complex and potentially life-threatening medical presentations.
  • Coordinate patient care with Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care, Surgery, and other specialist departments.
  • Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and review diagnostic investigations.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans according to clinical response.
  • Facilitate appropriate admission, discharge, referral, and follow-up arrangements.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical handovers.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient medical records.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical governance activities.
  • Contribute to teaching, training, and continuing professional development where applicable.
  • Maintain high standards of patient safety and evidence-based clinical practice.
  • Medical degree such as MBBS, MD, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Recognized postgraduate qualification in Acute Medicine, Internal Medicine, General Internal Medicine, or a related specialty.
  • Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
  • Strong experience in the assessment and management of acutely ill medical patients.
  • Experience managing complex medical presentations in a hospital environment.
  • Strong multidisciplinary and clinical coordination skills.
  • Candidates with UK CCT, Western Qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board are encouraged to apply.
