About the role:

The Chains Connectivity Specialist is responsible for supporting hotel chain connectivity, content mapping, and data validation across multiple channel managers and switches. The role focuses on ensuring accurate mapping between hotel systems and Almosafer platforms, validating API/ARI data flow, and maintaining data integrity through reporting and system checks.This position works closely with connectivity partners (e.g., DerbySoft, SynXis, channel managers), internal tech teams, and the Chains team to ensure seamless integration, correct rate and content mapping, and proper data transmission across systems.The role requires a strong technical aptitude, analytical mindset, and the ability to interpret raw system data, payloads, and mapping logs to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor hotel chain connectivity through switches and channel managers.
• Perform hotel mapping, content mapping, and rate mapping between external systems and internal platforms.
• Validate ARI/API payload data to ensure correct transmission of rates, availability, and inventory.
• Read and analyze system logs and raw data to identify connectivity or mapping issues.
• Work closely with internal tech, product, and connectivity teams to resolve integration issues.
• Conduct data validation and reporting using Excel and internal tools to ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain mapping records and ensure proper setup of newly connected properties.
• Support troubleshooting related to content discrepancies, rate mismatches, and inventory issues.
• Coordinate with chain partners and connectivity providers to ensure smooth onboarding and maintenance.
• Generate reports and analyze raw data using advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems.

Profile Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 1-3 years of experience in hotel connectivity, channel management, mapping, or system integration.
• Experience working with hotel switches, channel managers, or connectivity platforms is highly preferred.
• Background in hospitality technology, OTA connectivity, or distribution systems is a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of API / ARI data flow and payload structures.
• Ability to read and interpret system logs and raw data.
• Knowledge of hotel connectivity platforms such as DerbySoft, SynXis, and other channel managers.
• Solid understanding of hotel mapping, content mapping, and rate mapping.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data validation, reporting).
• Strong computer and system proficiency.
