Special Projects Manager

Manzil is the leading co-living and transportation platform for blue-collar workers in Saudi Arabia, offering tech-powered, affordable, and dignified housing options at scale. Through our hybrid model, subleasing, building, and a C2B marketplace — we help companies house and move their workers without operational headaches, while unlocking income for landlords and real estate owners.

At Mnzil, we are moving fast to Redefine the labor housing market, and speed often creates complexity. We need a Special Projects Manager who can thrive in that "gray area"—someone who can look at messy, real-world operations and build the systems, data backbones, and strategies to make them scalable. This isnt a traditional project management role; it’s a high-impact "internal consultant" position designed to solve our most pressing bottlenecks.

• 7+ years of experience in operations analytics, strategy, or special projects, ideally within asset-heavy or high-growth operations-led businesses (e.g., Prop-tech, Logistics, or Hospitality).

• Analytical Mastery: You are a "power user" in building complex models and dashboards (Excel/Google Sheets is a must; BI tools and SQL are highly preferred).

• Business Acumen: Strong exposure to pricing strategies, unit economics, and P&L management.

• Stakeholder Influence: The ability to communicate equally well with site technicians, finance directors, and C-suite leadership.

• Chaos Management: A proven ability to create structure out of ambiguity and a "no-task-too-small" attitude.
  
  

Data & Analytics Backbone:

• System Building: Build and own Mnzil’s analytics infrastructure across all functions, transforming raw field data into decision-ready insights.

• KPI Standardization: Define and standardize core operational KPIs (Occupancy, Churn, Capex vs. Opex) and implement rigorous data integrity checks.

• Reporting Ecosystem: Set up and manage high-visibility reporting for housekeeping costs, maintenance uptime, utility leakages, and move-in/out efficiency.

• Tool Development: Create lightweight tools, trackers, and SOPs to bridge the gap where enterprise systems don’t yet exist.
  
  

Strategic Initiatives & Pilots:

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead high-priority initiatives such as new city launches, major client onboarding, and portfolio-wide cost-reduction programs.

• R&D for Unit Economics: Design and run pilot programs to improve unit economics, then create the blueprint to scale successful results across the company.

• Strategic Partnering: Work alongside Ops, Finance, and Commercial teams to quantify trade-offs and provide the data for pricing, expansion, and investment decisions.
  
  

Operational Problem Solving:

• The "Generalist" Plug-in: Act as a versatile leader who can plug into any function—from supply chain to sales—to optimize processes and remove friction.

• Escalation Ownership: Serve as the primary owner for ambiguous, cross-team problems that don’t fit neatly into a single department.
