What Impact You Will Have

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving technical engagements with customers on pre-sales and technical tender management activities, acting as a bridge between Submer’s internal departments and the customer. This role will work closely with the Sales team to engage customers, with the mission of integrating and recommending Submer’s IT solutions, including servers, networking, and communication systems, within data center environments.

What You’ll Do

• Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in IT infrastructure and integration for technically complex projects and tenders.
• Work closely with the Middle East Sales Team, building a trusted technical relationship with customers.
• Actively engage with the Sales teams to support them in their deals and proposals.
• Follow a standard procedure to validate and qualify opportunities from a technical IT perspective.
• Drive the technical relationship with customers, ensuring alignment between their IT requirements and Submer’s technology roadmap.
• Create and develop technical IT proposals detailing server, networking, and communication system integrations.
• Review, validate, and provide preliminary IT architecture designs, ensuring proper integration between Submer’s solutions and the customer’s IT ecosystem during the sales process.
  
  

What You’ll Need

• +10 years of proven experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role related to data center IT infrastructure, servers, networking, or HPC environments.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, including compute, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies, as well as their interaction with data center environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related engineering field.
• Experience creating commercial and technical proposals for IT solutions in large-scale or high-performance environments.
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic and fast-evolving environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, presentation, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to work across varied time zones and collaborate with international teams.
• Understanding of data center infrastructure, connectivity, and integration between IT and MEP systems is a must.
• Previous project management experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of liquid cooling technologies and their impact on IT systems is advantageous.
