Impact & Purpose

Ready to make an impact? In this role, you’ll be responsible for building technical understanding and credibility during the sales process and positioning Milestone solutions to ensure the success of customer deployments and business outcomes.

Location

We are looking for a Solution Engineer, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (hybrid mode of working – 3 days at the office).

Role Summary

As a Solution Engineer, you'll  you play a key role in supporting partners, consultants, distributors, and end users by providing technical expertise, solution design, training, and pre-sales support across the Milestone portfolio. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping customers and partners understand the value of Milestone technologies and ensuring successful implementation of solutions.

As part of the go-to-market strategy, Milestone hosts technical seminars, roadshows, exhibitions, customer events, and partner enablement activities, which you will support and help lead throughout the UAE.

What You Will Do:

• Deliver technical demonstrations and presentations of Milestone solutions to customers, partners, and consultants to support business development and sales growth.
• Collaborate with the sales team throughout the sales cycle and provide technical expertise for customer opportunities and strategic projects.
• Prepare tender responses, technical proposals, and solution designs that meet customer and project requirements.
• Design solution architectures, conduct technical assessments, and ensure successful implementation and integration of Milestone solutions.
• Provide technical support during customer meetings, workshops, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), exhibitions, events, and solution validation activities.
• Train and advise partners, consultants, and end users on Milestone technologies, deployment methodologies, and best practices.
• Integrate Milestone solutions with third-party technologies, including video surveillance, access control, analytics, cloud, and security platforms.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor during project planning, deployment, and post-sales activities to ensure successful customer outcomes.

What You Bring to The Team:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical pre-sales, systems engineering, or IT engineering role, preferably within the physical security or video technology industry. 
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, or equivalent industry experience. 
• Milestone certifications such as MCDE, MCIT, and MCIE are considered an advantage. 
• Experience within the Video Surveillance, Physical Security, Access Control, or Security Technology industry. 
• Strong understanding of IP networking, servers, storage systems, virtualization, and cybersecurity fundamentals. 
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
• Experience working with consultants, system integrators, distributors, and end users in the UAE market. 
• Fluency in English is required. Speaking and understanding Arabic is highly preferred.

About the Team

You will work closely with the Milestone sales team, resellers, distributors, consultants, and key end users across various industries in the United Arab Emirates. You must be fluent in English, and speaking Arabic is preferred. The position is based in Dubai, UAE, and requires occasional travel within the country.
