Solution Architect

Role Purpose

The role is responsible for operating across multiple products, platforms, and technology stacks, translating complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure end to end solutions. This role requires strong technical breadth, enterprise architecture awareness, and the ability to work across vendors and stakeholders. The role will provide architectural oversight across a portfolio of initiatives, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with industry standards while remaining pragmatic and delivery focused.  

• Lead the design of end-to-end solutions across multiple products, platforms, and technology stacks  

• Develop and maintain solution architectures that align with enterprise architecture principles and IT strategy  

• Define target and transitional architectures, ensuring scalability, resilience, security, and performance  

• Produce architecture artefacts (HLDs, LLDs, etc.) 

• Act as the design authority across delivery teams, providing guidance and design assurance  

• Identify and manage architectural risks and trade-offs 

• Review and evaluate designs and recommend technologies in-line with architectural best practice Translate business and non-functional requirements into technical solutions  

• Ensure solutions are future-proofed and comply with enterprise standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements  

• Promote reuse, standardisation, and reduction of technical debt across products and platforms  

• Identify opportunities to improve platform capabilities, integration patterns, and development practices   

• 8+ years in engineering or architecture roles, including significant experience as a solution architect  

• Proven experience operating within or alongside an Enterprise Architecture function  

• Experience designing solutions that span multiple products, platforms, and organisational domains 

• Strong understanding of architecture layers, target and current-state architectures  

• Experience working with architecture frameworks pragmatically applied  

• Experience working with cloud platforms, integration patterns, hybrid architectures and security architecture fundamentals  

• Effective communication and stakeholder management.  

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
