Job Description

As a Software Sales Consultant, you will be the primary point of contact for existing and potential clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our software solutions. Your expertise in understanding client needs and translating them into our technological offerings will be crucial to driving revenue and market share growth. You will engage in direct sales activities and will be responsible for developing strong relationships with decision-makers at various levels within client organizations. The role demands a deep understanding of our products and the ability to effectively communicate their advantages in business terms. You will also work closely with the product development and marketing teams to provide input based on customer insights and market demands. Success in this role will rely on your strategic approach to selling, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to negotiate and close deals efficiently.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Identify and qualify potential clients through research and outreach initiatives.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to highlight the features and benefits of our software.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Negotiate contract terms and close sales with clients ensuring profitability.
  • Collaborate with product teams to align customer needs with product offerings.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts to the management team regularly.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape to better position our products.
  • Attend industry conferences and networking events to generate new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Work closely with marketing to develop strategies that drive product awareness.
  • Track and report on sales activities using the company’s CRM software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in software sales or a related industry.
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Strong understanding of software products and technology market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are required.
  • Ability to travel frequently to meet with clients and attend events.
  • Experience with CRM software and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
