We are looking for a Social Media Stategist for one of prestigious client House of Spells.

About House of Spells

House of Spells is Earth's Multi-Fandom Universe — a global experiential retail brand spanning Marvel, Star Wars, DC, Anime, gaming, and fantasy. We operate in the UK, are launching a flagship store in New York City's Times Square, and expanding into Malaysia, with our global marketing headquarters based right here in Dubai. This is not a corporate machine — it's a lean, fast-scaling startup environment where everyone wears multiple hats and no two days look the same.

The Role

We're hiring a Marketing & Administrative Assistant to join our Dubai HQ as an entry-level team member. This is a 360-degree role — you won't sit in a single lane. One moment you're scheduling social media content, the next you're on a call with a partner in New York, and the next you're coordinating a shipment or preparing a briefing document.

This role is built for someone early in their career who wants real exposure to international marketing, business development, and operations — not someone looking for a quiet desk job.

Important: This is not a standard 9-to-5 position. Our teams operate across the US, UK, India, and UAE, which means urgent tasks can land at any hour. We need someone who is genuinely available and responsive — including evenings, weekends, and occasionally holidays when something critical comes up. What You'll Do Day-to-Day

Social Media Marketing & Content

  • ⁠ ⁠Plan, create, schedule, and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X
  • ⁠ ⁠Monitor engagement, respond to comments and DMs, and track performance metrics
  • ⁠ ⁠Use AI-powered tools { Meta Business Suite, scheduling platforms) to accelerate content production
  • ⁠ ⁠Stay current on social media trends, algorithm changes, and competitor activity
  • ⁠ ⁠Assist in executing campaign calendars aligned with global launch timelines

Lead Generation & Business Development Support

  • ⁠ ⁠Conduct outbound telecalling to prospective partners, vendors, tourism operators, and media contacts
  • ⁠ ⁠Research and build prospect lists across target markets
  • ⁠ ⁠Manage follow-up sequences and track pipeline progress in CRM tools
  • ⁠ ⁠Support partnership outreach with initial emails, proposals, and meeting coordination

Global Team Coordination

  • ⁠Coordinate across teams in the UAE, US, India, and UK — managing schedules, follow-ups, and information flow
  • ⁠ ⁠Prepare meeting agendas, take notes, and circulate action items
  • ⁠ ⁠Act as the connective tissue between departments — marketing, operations, procurement, and leadership

Office Administration & Operations

  • ⁠Handle day-to-day office administration: filing, correspondence, vendor coordination, supply management
  • ⁠ ⁠Manage the CMO's calendar, travel bookings, and scheduling across time zones
  • ⁠ ⁠Prepare reports, documents, and presentations as needed
  • ⁠ ⁠Handle any urgent operational task that lands — this is a startup, and flexibility is the job

Travel

  • ⁠Occasional international travel outside the UAE for events, store launches, partner meetings, or on-the-ground support

What We Need From You

Must-Have:

  • ⁠ ⁠Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, social media management, or office administration
  • ⁠ ⁠Strong, demonstrable knowledge of social media platforms — not just posting, but understanding analytics, paid vs. organic reach, content strategy, and audience growth
  • ⁠ ⁠Confident outbound calling skills — you're comfortable picking up the phone and representing the brand professionally
  • ⁠ ⁠Excellent written and spoken English
  • ⁠ ⁠Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and at least one project management tool (Asana, Trello, Monday, or similar)
  • ⁠ ⁠Hands-on experience with AI productivity tools — ChatGPT, Clude,Gemini,Canva AI, or equivalent
  • ⁠ ⁠Genuinely flexible with working hours — available for urgent tasks outside standard hours, including weekends and holidays when needed

Nice-to-Have:

  • ⁠ ⁠Experience in retail, entertainment, tourism, or fandom/pop-culture industries
  • ⁠ ⁠Arabic, Spanish, or additional language skills
  • ⁠ ⁠Experience with Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads
  • ⁠ ⁠Background in telecalling, telesales, or BDR/SDR roles
  • ⁠ ⁠Photography or basic video editing skills for social content
